Winter "SAC" Performance ProgrThis program Begins November 28th, 2011!
It's that time again! NLA is pleased to announce that we are starting it's 10 annnual winter sessions of our year round programming. This training will take place at Gracie Barra Katy 21734 Provincial Blvd beginning the first week in December and take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. This session will go November 28th through February 29th.

These sessions are led by master trainer Coach Rey of NLA. During these sessions the athletes learn to run with proper form, increase their stride length and stride frequency, develop a greater threshold for active fatigue recovery, build power through our resisted dynamic training and improve aerobic/anaerobic conditioning.
New this year during our Winter Session, we will offer power sprinter, power sleds, plyo boxes and strength training at for all athletes. The strength program is designed to provide proper lifting techniques as well as high repetitions with maximum weight to increase muscle strength and endurnace.
The athletes who have participated in our Strength Program increased their max lifts at their respectives programs by 30 to 50% in just a 30 day period and also reduce the amount of injuries they play with.

These workouts will take place on hill surfaces as well as the field from time to time. These sessions are not specific to football athletes, we recommend that all athletes from every sport train to improve on all the before mentioned areas either during their sports season or before the Next season begins. Athletes who participate in this training come from volleyball, softball, basketball, track/field, tennis etc.
These sessions are based on the professional and collegiate winter training programs across the country in athletics and have produced in KISD high school All Americans, State Champions, All District, All State Athletes as well as Track and Field Champions!
You may reserve your spot now to begin the much needed improvement in your complete athletic performance. You will walk away from the Winter Session a much improved athlete as we gear up for the Spring and Summer Sessions.
These sessions are only $100.00 per month and you may pay now for your spot.
As always we recommend that each athlete participate in all Off-Season Programs that NLA offers to tie together all areas of performance.
The Winter schedule goes as follows this year: Monday - resisted broad jumps, resisted verticle jumps, heavy tire flips, mini hurdle change of direction drills, plate core Tuesday - battle ropes, power sprinter, power pull sled, prowler push sled, plyo boxes, ground agility ladder change of direction drills, plate core Wednesday - resisted broad jumps, resisted verticle jumps, heavy tire flips, mini hurdle change of direction drills, plate core Thursday - battle ropes, power sprinter, power pull sled, prowler push sled, plyo boxes, ground agility ladder change of direction drills, plate core
